MINICAMP Rose Linen Sea Star Cushion

A seaside touch in a child’s room does not need a full theme, only one or two pieces that carry the idea quietly. This sea star cushion does it in a gentle rose linen, quilted along the lines of each point and finished in a calm Scandinavian style.

Filled with OEKO-TEX® certified PES fibre balls, it offers lasting softness and durability, making it ideal for teepees, reading nooks, beds, or sofas. A matching tassel detail and flat-edge finish complete the look, creating a beautifully balanced piece that brings a cosy, beach-inspired feel into nurseries, children’s rooms, and calm, design-led interiors.

We like this cushion because the shape does the decorating. The quilted lines run out to each point of the star and the matching tassel adds a small finishing detail, so it looks deliberate on a bed or chair rather than like a toy left out.

The rose linen is a soft, muted pink that works in a child's bedroom, a shared room or a neutral nursery, and it can go in the washing machine on a gentle 30°C cycle.

What age is this cushion suitable for?

It is a decorative cushion rather than a toy, and MINICAMP does not give it an age rating. It suits a nursery or child's room as styling, but keep it out of cots and baby sleeping spaces, and away from very young children who might pull at the tassel.

How big is the sea star cushion?

It measures 48 cm (18.9 in) in diameter, a good size for propping on a bed, a sofa arm or the floor of a teepee.

What is it made from?

The cover is 100% linen with a quilted finish, and it is filled with OEKO-TEX certified PES fibre balls, which MINICAMP describes as hypoallergenic.

Can I wash it?

Yes. MINICAMP's care advice is to machine wash it gently at 30°C, dry it flat and avoid tumble drying. Small marks can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent.

Is there a matching cushion?

The same sea star cushion is also available in mint, and both sit well with MINICAMP's linen sea shell cushions for a coastal corner.
