Złoto-niebieskie gwiazdki Moja pierwsza bombka świąteczna

A first Christmas tends to be photographed from every angle and then remembered in surprisingly few details. A bauble with a name on it is one of the simplest ways to hold on to the year itself, because it comes back out of the box every December and tells the story again.

This ceramic bauble carries the words "my 1st Christmas" in a soft script framed by scattered stars, with your baby's name beneath them in the colour of the design. Choose gold and blue stars or gold and pink stars. The reverse has room for a four-line message of up to 20 characters per line, which is where most families add a date, a short note or who it is from.

The name on the front can be up to 12 characters. Personalisation is case sensitive and printed exactly as you type it, so it is worth checking the spelling and capitals before you add it to your basket. The words "my 1st Christmas" are part of the design and cannot be changed.

At around 6cm across, it is small enough to sit among the rest of the tree without taking it over, and it arrives with a ribbon so it is ready to hang. The style of the bauble topper may vary from the photographs.

1x personalised ceramic my 1st Christmas bauble with ribbon, in your chosen colour.

Ceramic can chip or break if it is dropped, so hang it from a sturdy branch and wrap it in tissue when you pack the decorations away.

We like a keepsake that earns its place by being used, and a bauble does exactly that: it is out on the tree for a few weeks every year rather than living in a drawer. The message on the reverse is the part we would encourage you to use. A date, a birth weight or a few words from grandparents turns a pretty decoration into a small record of that first December.

What can I personalise on the bauble?

The front takes a name of up to 12 characters and the back takes four lines of up to 20 characters each. The words "my 1st Christmas" are part of the design. Everything is printed exactly as you type it, including capital letters.

How long will it take to arrive?

Each bauble is made to order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so please allow 2 to 5 business days in total. Orders placed after midday, or at the weekend, start from the next working day.

Can I return a personalised bauble?

Because it is personalised and made to order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty or damaged, or the personalisation isn't what you ordered, please get in touch and we'll put it right.

Is the bauble safe for a baby to hold?

It is a ceramic decoration for the tree rather than a toy, so hang it out of reach of small hands.

Nestoro is run by James and Agata, two parents who spent too many evenings searching marketplaces for children's things that looked good and were made to last, and decided to do something about it.

Many of the pieces in our own range are personalised and made to order, with the name or message you choose added before your order is sent out.
