Round is a practical shape for a bean bag used by children with other children. No corners to negotiate, no particular direction to approach from, no territorial disputes about the preferred end. The fabric is water-repellent, UV-resistant, and OEKO-TEX certified. The water-repellent treatment keeps the surface dry after light outdoor exposure. The UV resistance keeps the colour stable through extended time in sunlight. The OEKO-TEX certification covers the safety standard of the cover fabric itself, having been independently tested against standards for harmful substances. The cover is removable and machine-washable.
The filling is polystyrene beads, adjustable via an inner zip. Adjusting the fill changes both the firmness and the prominence of the flower-like shape. A fuller fill gives a more defined form; a lighter fill allows the bag to spread and settle. Both configurations work for different styles of sitting and different ages of child.
Like the standard Outzy Sako, the Floreo is designed for indoor and dry outdoor use, not for permanent outdoor storage. Bring it inside before rain, overnight dew, or sustained humid conditions to keep both the fill and the fabric in the condition they should be in.
